At Royal York Dental we have every room equipped with cameras that can take pictures right inside your mouth. We use these images to magnify specific teeth or areas of concern.
What is an Intra Oral Camera?
An intra oral camera is a small handheld device that takes highly accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. They allow your dentist to get a detailed look at your teeth, gums and oral structures to help diagnose and treat any dental issues.
Intra Oral Cameras and Your Treatment
With the Intra Oral camera, we are able to show you, with great detail, what's going on in your mouth. Because you will be able to see inside your mouth, you will be able to work with your dental professional to make informed decisions about your treatment options.
We will capture your images and review them with you during your appointment. Once captured, your images are digitally stored and become part of your confidential digital record.
