Dr. Tarek Sharkas is a prosthodontist at Royal York Dentistry in West Toronto.

Dr. Sharkas is a skilled surgical prosthodontist and implantologist, having completed his studies in 2006 at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in the Prosthodontics Fellowship Program. He then joined the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, and UPMC for his residency in Prosthodontics. He is board certified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Sharkas also teaches Prosthodontics at Western University.

He believes the most important aspect of dentistry is building trust with patients and making patients smile after each dental treatment. Dr. Sharkas is passionate about his work, especially in the field of Prosthodontics and surgical dentistry, and enjoys helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and smile.

During his free time, Dr. Sharkas enjoys spending time with his family, building radio-controlled helicopter models, and participating in local flying events.
